How it Works
Participation in various community, social, and civic activities is a popular support option under the NDIS. These activities play a vital role in promoting overall well-being by enabling individuals to explore their interests, connect with others, and have fun. The activities can be organised in community centres or other community settings, offering different intensity levels of engagement.
Whether it's joining a club, starting a new hobby, socialising with friends, acquiring new skills, or volunteering, we will help you tailor your activities to align with your goals. These activities can be pursued individually or as part of a group, depending on the participant's preferences.
At Hope and Life, our role is to provide comprehensive support to participants during these activities. This includes arranging transportation to and from the location, offering assistance throughout the activity, and fostering the development of the participant's abilities to fully participate in these experiences.

Our team strive to ensure that participants feel empowered, engaged, and supported throughout their chosen activities, such as:
-
Attending appointments
-
Enjoying a coffee
-
Workshops (e.g. job hunting)
-
Volunteering
-
Social events (e.g. day trips, sports activities)
-
Taking up new hobbies
-
Social places of interest (e.g. movies, shops, parks)
-
And more
